Kyoo 17

Have you ever ridden a really big rollercoaster? I have. I just rode one this past week in my life:

--> The wait as you strap yourself in, hear the coaster come to life, and wait for that sudden transition from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds...

My weekend was spent absorbing the sun, sights, and sounds of Salt Lake City on conference weekend. It was relaxing and fun. Steffer and I bought shoes, danced in a sidewalk fountain, flirted with eligible young men, ran to the fence, and contemplated life. I also gazed at the building where I hope to complete my internship. More on this in future posts.

--> The transition from 0 to 60...

Monday morning. Ouch.

--> The first uphill climb...

It would definitely have to be the 26 hours I spent in the lab over two days finishing my personal site and adding search and other dynamic capabilities to my demonstration site. But, I didn't get escorted out of the lab (see Kyoo 16)! Oh, and that also meant that I couldn't spend time with Snickers and Special K.

--> The first downhill...

Finishing my web development final. The solution (or lack thereof) to a portion of the final had occupied my dreams for three nights straight. To celebrate this achievement, I ran around the lab in my sports bra waving my shirt over the top of my head. What? Soccer players do it. I felt quite victorious.

--> The second uphill...

Finals, finals, finals. And white glove. The oven is a pain to scrub and I think I lost a heavy portion of brain cells.

--> The second downhill...

Actually, I'm bored now and want to do something else. I'm on break and home, what the heck am I doing on the computer?

Bye!
