Remember that I attend a very morally strict University as you read the coming story.
I recently saw posters up around campus advertising an upcoming Kidney Screening put on by the Nursing students. No big deal. I didn't think much of it. That is, until I saw a certain El Gregorio running around frantically trying to replace them. Haha, turns out there was a little slip at the keyboard and the number had been printed wrong. Imagine everyone' surprise when they called to sign up for a kidney screening and connected to an "intimacy line" instead!
El Gregorio will not live this one down. At least not from me.
Haha, kidney screening. That's a good cover.
Mistakes are usually funny when they don't negatively affect you. Who would have though?
Just FYI, I finally have a computer. We'll see if this one lasts more than a week. I've amazed myself at far I've made it through the semester without a computer to rely on. Plus, I'm practically an expert at shopping for a computer, installing programs, backing up data, and everything else that takes hours of time and attention.
I won't brag about my new toy but it sure is pretty. In more ways than one.
Last but not least, an internship or "Where will Kyooyoo be this summer?" update. Salt Lake City and Colorado Springs have officially been added to the options. I have an interview with a DBA at church headquarters after Thanksgiving break and have officially applied for two different positions with Lockheed Martin. USAA is supposed to have an offer (or rejection) by this Monday. This will be a fun choice if I can get offers from all three places before I have to accept one. Not likely.
Well, I have to pack and get ready to meet Cornmeal!
Have a great day :)

ha ha ha, i loved your kidney story! That's one to go down in the books. And why is this the first time i've been hearing about your other internship possibilities! I demand an update! After all, it was I who rescued your new toy from the harsh environment of C.H. in RID. ha ha, figure out those acronyms. :D And my mom just walked upstairs asking me if i lit a candle. I almost felt like i was back in our dreaded apartment. Lol
Snickers, I love you ("back in our dreaded apartment"). Sidekick pointed out to me today that we live in a fantasy-land apartment. Think about the characters.....
Wow. I'm really bad about commenting lately. Forgive me?
I'm sorry, I want to try calling you again but I have lost my cell phone charger and unless I drive somewhere for over an hour, I'm screwed and phone less, well besides the one in my dorm room. And the kidney story is amazing!
