It's crazy how one day can scramble all the plans you thought were set in stone.
When I woke up this morning, my life was planned out for the next couple years. I was going to do my internship with USAA in San Antonio this summer, come back for two semesters to knock out a business minor, graduate in April of 09, and then go back to work at USAA for a few years.
Not so.
I will spare you the gory, boring details but it is now impossible for me to pursue a business minor. It was a shock at first but I think it's kind of a relief now. I wasn't overly excited about the program (even though I love business) and it just seemed boring to have a CIT major with a business minor. I think I've always wanted more variety. A little spice on my academic table.
So, I've got a few ideas floating around in my head. I'm pretty excited about all of them but a few things have to "work out" first so mum's the word until I hear back from external sources.
It's kind of a cool feeling having my life up-in-the-air again and exploring new options. I need to never get so set in my ways that I don't look for alternative paths that might actually yield better outcomes.
Life is fun.
And so is my new punching bag! Sidekick and I made a little investment. I basically traded an old calculator for it. I find it very useful. And quite aerobic. Makes for a good break from a computer screen.
It's a keeper!
Have a great day :)

that is exciting-- maybe a little scary/crazy, but exciting. What ideas are you mulling around in your brain? Might I suggest NOT doing a chemistry minor, just in case by some insane gust of wind it had made it to the "options" list. Haha. Good luck sorting it all out!
Oh, and you should have a look at my page and see what I did today. It's very exciting.
