Yoo 339 - Stills From A Nebraska Weekend

The Gregbeau and I made it back alive and with no Caspercar drama yesterday. Though Texas did welcome us with a pretty fierce lightning storm. And also a Spurs playoff win. Luckily we were in radio range to listen to that for the last couple hours.  <-- no sarcasm there whatsoever <-- that was sarcastic

Now I get to go to work and miss this all day.

Survival bracelets unite! All the sibling people (and also the kyoo dad) were jealous of my "adventure" bracelet. So there was a lot of knot-tying one morning and now they're all part of the cool club.

I rolled my eyes when the Kyoo Brother pulled this game out. But now I'm addicted to it.

Lots of time with the Shadow puppy!

Bike ride with the Gregbeau and Kyoo dad. With a stop in Edgar for hot dogs, orange slices, and Corn Nuts. The Corn Nuts are tradition. Everything else, well, we're "ride to eat" kind of people. Also, if the Gregcyclist tries to tell you I'm scared of biking over railroad tracks with my road bike, it simply isn't true...

A foray to downtown Hastings.

With a quick stop at Eileen's cookies before seeing The Avengers. First, the cookies are so much smaller than they used to be! But still tasty. Second, Captain America and Thor. I'm one of those girls. Only reason I agreed to see the movie.

Nothing like sipping on expired lemonade and spending your Friday night just watching the cars (all 3 of them) go by. Even better when your dog forgets which species AND gender it is...but no more on that.

I wish I could breakfast next to these every morning. They smelled amazing.

This girl braids her own hair. At 11. I was super impressed!

They already miss me.

A bit blurred, but the Caspercar hit 127,127. It's a double of my favorite number. Quite a momentous occasion, you see.

I sure love going back home. Even with the draining 14-hour drive.

Have a great day :-)

I love everything about this post! Except for one thing - um, hello!!!! Ironman?!?! How can you not love him?! He's hot, and Robert Downey Jr plays him perfectly. He's why I'm going to Avengers

k, two things:
1) I want a survival bracelet - puh-lease?
2) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the farming game! It's my most favoritest of all board games. They even have a travel farming game I think.

Ok, Nicole, you're right. Ironman was definitely a plus in the movie. So funny! And not bad looking...I should have given him more props!
And Tina, of course I can make you one! We should have a Farming Game party sometime, too...
