First, a big thank you for all the advice and tips coming my way! They all are so reassuring and make me smile. Now that the engagement and date have settled in my mind a bit, I'm starting to get focused and also a little excited about this next month!
Except for that moment when I created an account on theknot.com and was told that I had 173 items to do this week.
Eek.
Filtering thru those...
Second, it was unexpectedly awkward to announce my wedding date to my coworkers. I guess an 8-week (now 6 week) engagement is a bit short for most people? I have a hunch some of them think I'm pregnant.
It probably doesn't help that I exhibit lots of the signs:
Eating all the time (training for an ironman...)
Peeing all the time (i drink water when i'm bored...)
Sleeping all the time (just got back from vacation, afternoon power naps at the desk do wonders...)
They're not the only ones either, one of my former neighbors is sure of it. She called the Kyoo mom "soon-to-be-grandma".
Sorry to disappoint! Definitely no baby here. Unless there's something in all that water I've been drinking...
Just a short engagement due to not-so-dramatic circumstances.
Finally, at least the Gregbeau is eager to help thru all this. If you count his cake suggestions helpful:
Ok, I'm sure you're tired of all this wedding talk. I promise I won't install a wedding countdown ticker on this blog and I'll talk about non-wedding-related topics for the next 2 days, at least. I promise!
Have a great day :-)

But I like hearing about the wedding plans.... and, since you're getting married in the temple, you don't have to do at least half of those suggestions on the know. And, a short engagement is the best one :)
Yea I agree. Most of the things listed on those are totally bogus for a temple wedding. Like you don't need braids maids, unless you want them. How's the dress hunting going?
