So here's a fascinating tale about a shelf!
Meet shelf.
Behind-the-couch shelf, no less.
Shelf is a new addition to the Kyoo Condo, conceived on a Pinterest whim and born over a rather uneventful weekend.
Before shelf, there was nothing.
Just a couch, all up on the wall.
Then hammers and saws and a long trip to Home Depot...
^^ if you push your fat up against your leg just so, you too can have studly-looking forearms...
...and voila!
We had a shelf. Exciting, huh?
Adds light to the living room and gives me more places to stack up cups and dishes.
To the shelf!
I've had a long bout of home apathy and I'm certain that's starting to turn as spring approaches. I think I like my home apathy bouts better because when I get in my spring cleaning mode, I notice everything I don't like about my condo and I'm overly ambitious about fixing everything.
Drives me nuts.
And then I start a bunch of projects just in time for home apathy to set in again and they sit and wait for the next go-round.
Now, not related at all to the shelf but seemingly noteworthy in my brain, I have logged 126.4 miles on my running legs this month and haven't lost a single pound. If anything this is a tribute to my excellent eating skills. But aren't we so proud? It takes a lot of dessert and pizza to run for hours and maintain this stocky figure. Who's got two thumbs and can still fill out her jeans??
This girl.
In closing and sort of on the topic of food AND running, I was running at Government Canyon a couple weeks ago and glanced at my phone to find this text message from the Gregman:
"My life is ruined. I picked up peanut M&Ms instead of peanut butter."
Sometimes bad things happen to good people.
Have a great day :-)
