^^ this is scarier than it looks
^^ this is just as scary as it looks

Never mind that I get an adrenaline rush just walking across the Perrine Bridge. Here's my favorite.
^^ the scariest part for me would probably have to be getting into jumping position without falling before i was ready...this dude has no fear
^^ just jumps up there and surveys his domain...wait for it...
^^ then front-flips off. no big deal.

We spent a good hour watching the BASE jumpers on the Perrine Bridge one evening in Twin Falls. And my phone is kind of awesome because it just auto-corrected "base jumpers" to BASE jumpers. I guess they're legit enough for all-caps...
But anywho, BASE jumping. Based on my current desire (nilch) and the fact that that desire is most likely inversely related to my age (increasing), I will probably never go BASE jumping.
This could be in part to the horror stories that the Grameez told me on a picnic by that very bridge one afternoon. It was windy and we were huddled next to a stone wall eating pickled beet sandwiches. I love pickled beets. That's not the point though. The point is, she rattled off, in detail, a string of stories involving limbs left hanging after getting caught during a jump and semi trucks being blown off the bridge.
It was haunting. And I can imagine, if I ever did go BASE jumping, and died, I would get quite the ear-full from Grameez on the other side.
Have a great day :-)
