I love Google's book search. I was spending a lot of time trying to find answers in a textbook and finally remembered that Google has a book search that will tell me which page certain phrases are on. It's now saved me hours.

Also, I've recently been realizing that I'm becoming a pansy movie-watcher. I almost cried during the following movies:

• Rudy
• Behind Enemy Lines
• Cool Runnings
• Batman Begins
• The Dark Knight
• Forever Strong

And there's more. Ignore the black streaks and pass the tissues. I can run a 26.2 mile race with composure and compete in a predominantly male field with stoicism but lose all dignity in just a couple short hours of cinema magic. Thank you Hollywood.

I'm currently fantasizing over the possibility of owning my own house in a year, adding a cute little puppy to the mix, traveling a bit to compete in running races and triathlons, and enjoying a lack of winter. I am not fantasizing about all of the additional expenses that I don't even know exist at this point in time. And taxes.

Oh transitions. Life goes on.
