Like a trip to Idaho to see the sick Kyoo Grameez just one more time. I spent loads of time sitting with her. We watched Anne of Green Gables, mostly. And talked. And in between all of that I tried to make homemade pretzels:
(key verb there was tried to...)
Then there was that time I tried to (there it is again!) install a new stereo in my car so my phone could talk thru Casper and share its musical bounties on my upcoming Florida road trip. But I quickly realized I was in over my head. So I took my ransacked car....
...and drove it over to Tony's. Because he seems to know how to fix everything. He fixed it. And I learned what butt connectors are...
(that's not supposed to sound awkward). (but I gave him a look with eyebrow raised and head cocked to the side when he told me that's what I was missing).
Then came THE epic road trip to Florida with the Alishafriend to camp on the coast and watch one of the last space shuttle launches. We made really
..and slept in the car while we were road trippin' to save money on hotels. And cooked dinner on my propane stove at rest stops to save money on food. (we were both about to close on houses and feeling really poor). The best rest stops were in Mississippi. We hated the ones (read there aren't any) in Georgia.
It was a happy place. Until the Kyoo Grameez died. Then came another trip to Idaho to lay her body to rest and give her Borris a new home.
With me.
My cousin drew that. It made me so happy.
This was also the summer I was in charge of planning FHE. One Monday we tried to (again...sensing a theme?) depict scenes from the Book of Mormon using marshmallows and toothpicks.
I think mine was Lehi and family trekking into the wilderness. (read those slightly resemble camels and people?). (I'm totally guessing on the story). (it seems applicable).
That's enough for now. I'm sure I'll shamelessly post more in the next day or two. I mean, it was a good summer. Most especially because I convinced a certain tall, broadish young man with a mischievous laugh and grande lips that I was the coolest thing since fried chicken and Dr. Pepper. (he doesn't really think this). (but he should). (also I don't really like Dr.Pepper). (but I should?).
Have a great day :-)

Hey! You forgot one very important thing you did! You came to see me and my wedding!
There wasn't a picture in my phone for it! But don't worry...that was part 1, remember? I can still redeem myself! :)
You'd better! Or else!
