shoes: KEENS (wear them everyday, everywhere) (ugly as a peahen) (still swear by them after two years) shoelaces: stolen from an old pair of KEENS (the original ones ripped) (i'm too cheap to buy new matching ones) jeans: probably Eddie Bauer (right leg rollup to evade muh chain!) socks: thrifted (not really...but it sounds good)
That, bicycle commuting style, just happened.
Get it while it's hawt!
In other bike commuting news, I'm pretty popular with the school bus stop kids as of late. Thanks to my purchase and install of tire lights. Green ones. (amazon...5 dollars...worth it). Now when I race past, all TRON-like in the morning, I get comments shouted my direction like "Whoa! I like your bike!" and "That's so cool! Did you see her bike?!".
(it's probably a good thing I'm going downhill when I pass their stops). (i don't think the lights look as cool during my slow-motion uphill pedals).
But what more can I say? I'm popular with the K-6 crowd. It's an ego boost.
Unless they're being sarcastic. But they wouldn't do that, right?
Have a great day :-)
