*it'd be weird if I carried a he every where, don't you think? at least, i'm pretty sure the gregenvy wouldn't approve. so the shelby phone is female.
She holds stories of a date at a cute little cafe with card games and soup and smiles.
There was an aimless walk after that led to the Sonics, of all places, with icecream, diet sodas, and more games. Oh, and a frenzied run to the car instigated by a torrential downpour. With a mushy/romantic "good night"...rain!
Shelby could also tell you about how the Greggers and I sometimes misunderstand each other and it hurts and gets blown out of proportion. But we're really good talkers and work thru everything.
(that and he still likes surprising me...though i hear that usually doesn't last forever...lame).
(now, with this next one, please ignore my backyard. there is no tarp or tent fly hanging out to dry. or rotting pumpkins left from halloween. just beautiful, green grass. and flowers. and a nice little porch swing. and friendly lawn gnome.)
Shelby reminds me all the time how I have a lot to learn about being in a relationship, but that I am slowly getting better. And really lucky the Gregman has the patience and humility that I lack...
And moving away from "couple" talk, did you know M&M McFlurries get really cool swirly patterns if you leave all the M&Ms until last?
Shelby does.
She also knows that I really wanted to buy this sleeping bag at REI. It was down and oh so cozy!
But I didn't because it wasn't a necessity. And I was spending lots of money on new bike pedals, anyways.
Shelby might even tell you about Darlene-at-work's cheesecake. Because it's amazing and you know it's a special occasion when she brings it in...because she only brings it in on special occasions.
It was part of the after-birthday bash a couple weeks ago.
Everyone loves it. (the cheesecake). (and my birthday bash). (and Darlene, for that matter).
That's about it for Shelby. It's a chilly day in SA so I'm catching up on housework and work work...before heading to the rodeo tonight. Fun times in the life.
Sure hope you're having a super weekend! (that's for you morgie...between the lines it says "quit studying and get out and have some fun!").
Have a great day :-)
