Yoo 519 - Overgrown Potato

My fruit/veggie bowl went all Jack and the Beanstalk on me last week. The potatoes weren't even that old! It was about the most success I've ever had with a plant.

Also, is it just me or do bananas go from green to brown in about a day flat now? I swear there's a 4-hour window where they're palatable. I basically just buy them to make muffins now.

So this week was a drag until Thursday and then it flew by. I got promoted at work. That's something! And now I'm supposed to be packing for camping this weekend. Alisha is on her way over and is going to roll her eyes and call me "child". But there's a lot of activation energy required to immediately rebound from a work week and set off on a camping trip...energy I haven't mustered yet.

The heat here is slowly subsiding. At least when I walk outside I don't feel as if my soul is immediately crushed. Granted I kind of miss it because I love the heat and it's easier to wear out my dog when it's 100 degrees.

But it makes for a lot better running weather!

I'm debating changing the blog name to "Tales of a Teagan", though there has already been some backlash (morgan!). I'll post something if that happens.
