Whelp, after frolicking up north of they bay, we drove as far south along Highway 1 as 2 days, with copious stopping, would allow us. There's not much to say after it was gorgeous and...swell. High 5 for that pun! The whole drive almost reminded me of being in New Zealand except that the weather was perfect :-)
I stopped taking pictures because they were all looking the same.
Half Moon Bay. Santa Cruz. Monterey. Big Sur. Handfuls of beaches in between. This will definitely be a family vacation in the future. Winding up or down the West Coast. I can just see the van of car-sick kids now!
