But clearly those people are not camping in Big Bend this week.
Something about a dire work project and an unfortunately scheduled interview?
But of course this was handled with grace and understanding! By at least one person in the relationship, anyways. The other was a little more...passionate.
Indoor s'mores offer no compensation in cases like these, but I gave it a try just the same.
I've done a really good job of channeling my wasted camp gumption into a million projects around the condo.
All at the same time.
Seriously. I was the poster child of gung-ho all evening after work, Monday thru Wednesday. But tonight?
Tonight that firecracker fizzled.
So now my condo looks like this.
(those are just the project areas...the rest of the condo is actually worse...)
And my backyard patio is devoid of order.
I need to remember this the next time I want to start multiple projects at the same time. This despair I feel when everything is torn up and in disarray and now I have to put it back right...and better.
It's the same feeling I got when I moved into my condo and ripped up all the baseboards upstairs and tore all the shelves out of my closets. I finished that...I had to take a couple days off work, but I finished it.
This will get done. Eventually!
Also, stock market tip...Home Depot. Their sales are skyrocketing in at least one San Antonio location.
And now, some of my favorite pics from the last little while...
^^ deers!
Have a great day :-)
(unless you're in big bend, then don't. i hope your day is freezing and filled with bugs.)
