Yoo 524 - Same Old, Same Old

Hey, howdy, hey. It's been super run-of-the-mill around here lately. Work, school, and Roscoe. We did go to Six Flags on Saturday and it mostly just rained but we got to ride Iron Rattler twice.

It's up there on my list of favorite roller coasters. Which is pretty much set in stone now that I'm turning into my mom and losing my stomach for the thrill rides.

Roscoe didn't get to go to Six Flags with us, but we did stop at Half Price Books after and found out that they let dogs in their store! We're going to go just to go now, even though that's a bad idea. I'm sure Roscoe will totally misbehave, but also I now know where the clearance pet book section is. I walked out of there with 6 dog books last Saturday alone.

One of them is an IQ test that I've slowly been submitting Roscoe to. Results forthcoming.

I'm heading on a road trip with a couple friends this weekend and Greg is under strict orders to study Study STUDY for his first actuary exam later this month (and watch general conference). We're heading to New Mexico for the hot air balloon festival thing but the government shutdown is really cramping our style because we were going to hit 2 national parks on the way!

That's all I will say about that.

I got Roscoe a new pet bed. It was ordered online and said "Large" but clearly I should have checked the measurements...

At least his haunches fit. He mostly sees it as a large chew toy anyways. It's been in his spot by the window for all of 20 minutes and I've had to get on him 5 times for trying to rip it apart.

Teenagers...

He's staring longingly at the outdoors now and I might just have to spoil him with a trail run before we meet up with the Gregman for a late dinner. He has about an hour between class and "Investment Club" (or is it society?) tonight. Always fun in this Hall house!

Have a great day :-)
