Yoo 385 - A Pact Fulfilled

It's amazing what taking over a week and a half off and eating far too much leftover wedding cake will do to one's fitness levels. It was a sad, pathetic scene in the gym today. At least the parts I was gracing.

Also, there are very few things more embarrassing than being handed a Victoria's Secret bag AT WORK. At least for me.

But that's what the Alishafriend happily pushed into my hands today.

I. About. Died. She almost had to scrape me off the floor!

Needless to say, the bag got ditched in a trash can pronto and I was relieved to reveal basketball shorts. We'd always joked that when one of us got married, we'd rather get basketball shorts instead of lingerie. It was pretty much a pact.

That was almost THE meanest way she could have fulfilled the pact.

This is the same Alisha that "caught" my bouquet and is therefore going to meet the man of her dreams and get married any day now.

And when she does...I will be recalling this little stunt and keeping my end of the pact...with vengeance. Is what.

To the Alishafriend!

Since we're on the topic of bouquets, will you listen while I gush about mine for just a short minute? Ok, good. I loved my bouquet! I probably definitely couldn't even name one flower in it...oh wait, there was a rose...but it was fun and colorful and exactly what I asked for. Probably because I told the local HEB that I wanted something fun and bright and colorful and left it at that.

Low expectations make for happy campers is what I think.

I had my reservations about giving it away at the end of the night and am tempted to steal it back. Is that bad luck?

I probably could have had a second bouquet but I was too cheap for that.

In other news, me thinks the wedding day is HEAPS more fun than all the wedding planning that comes before it. Shoot. I was ready for July 20th to be over! But now I'm all twitterpatted with it. I'll try not to inundate EVERY blog post with pictures, but let's pretend that I will. For the next three months.

Low expectations, remember?

Have a great day :-)

Can't believe you posted that creepy photo of me with the bouquet! Lol
I'm glad you liked the gift! Pact == fulfilled. No payback necessary :) now I just need to wait until you've tried the lucious cactus cooler... You won't ever want another soda! Scratch that... Low expectations. You will probably hate it.
In other news, the bouquet is still alive and well. Don't steal it back! But if you want to come visit it, feel free :)
Lastly, that last pic of you and greggers is priceless.
