Yoo 391 - A Perfectly Newlywed Saturday

We spent Saturday in the most perfect of newlywed ways: waiting on a mechanic all day to spend five hundred dollars fixing our only car.

Only it really wasn't that bad. We took our bikes and set out to explore downtown and the Missions trail (again) while we waited. So the day was filled with getting lost, drooling over homes we'll probably never be able to afford, playing with nieces and nephews, and eating at restaurants with unnerving warning labels.

And sweat. Lots of sweat.

Then, since the Caspercar was fixed, we pilgrimaged it up to Austin for a dresser. And then, somewhere in the labyrinth that is IKEA, a million other things spoke to me so we came home with a dresser AND a bagful of pillows, plants, candle lanterns, a small moose, bag clips, and a fake bear rug. I'm only a little ashamed.

Do you know what we're surprisingly sad about though?

The Caspercar doesn't sound like Sebulba's pod racer anymore. Driving around town just isn't as cool.

Have a great day :-)

Wow, I'm so used to seeing those made out of legos. Weird. (this comment would probably make more sense if you knew how much I play Lego Star Wars vs watch the movie)
