The spoiled-rotten brat in me got a Bosch mixer as a wedding gift. I know! I'm jealous of her too. But mostly I'm super excited to put all 800 of those watts to good use for the rest of my life.
(with the kind of price tag one carries, it better last forever...)
I finally had a chance to break it in this weekend. Wheat bread for sandwiches this week...FANCY!
Confession: I felt like I was cheating. It was too easy. Poor little guy had to do all the work! My arm muscles might atrophy from lack of needing to stir, but I'm a fan.
The kyoomom has had a Bosch for longer than I've been alive and I had many a kitchen adventure with it growing up. Mostly making cookies. But does that surprise you?
Pretty excited to have one of my own!
In other weekend news:
- I tortured 4 lemons into the most guilty (aka delicious) of lemon bars.
- Went to Sea World and decided, yet again, that I want to be a Sea Lion trainer. Clyde and Seymour steal my heart every time!
- Raced from Shamu to the Caspercar with my Gregman in the rain. It would have been romantic had we not been trying to shelter our exposed cellphones. Technology ruins everything!
- Experienced a power-outage in a GROCERY STORE. Weird, right? All of a sudden the whole store went black. Luckily we had just checked out but then I started thinking, "Darn, maybe we would have gotten free groceries...".
- Sat in my living room and stared at boxes and books waiting for them to tell me where to put them. Made some progress but they're not real talkative. Oy vey! I'm tired of organizing.
Guess what I'm doing now??
Going to work.
Sorry, had to bring the excitement level back down.
Have a great day :-)
