Our first Christmas was officially held on the Saturday morning of December 22, 2012. And it was pretty uneventful. Minus the part when I unwrapped the complete collection of "The Magic School Bus".
Win!
Oh, and when the Gregnerd got "Lord of the Rings", extended edition.
Ouch.
It was just the two of us, celebrating a few days before the rest of the world, and without any extravagant decorations. Christmas with the family is heaps better, I must say! But I turned on my fake tree lights and unwrapped a few pop tarts for the occasion. We didn't really have any food left in the house...
...mostly because we were on our way to New Zealand later that day.

Oh goodness glory, we'd been planning since early August! Ever since the wedding hype died down. Planning and saving and dreaming. Modest as our little make-shift first Christmas was, that morning was just a buzz of excitement and anticipation and packing, packing, packing.
Made a list, checked it twice, I did.

aaaahhhh lol. i've missed your blogs!!! and now....ze cliff hanger! but i know, i know. you are tired from an AH-MAZING trip!! to NEW ZEALAND! so i will continue to practice patience as i await the tales of adventure and the pictures galore of your trip =)
